Payal and Subuhi met early in 2023 and quickly became friends. Both in their 40s, a favourite topic was perimenopause and the symptoms, including tiredness, low-quality sleep, and dry skin.
From there, the idea of Mushhk grew. They started by creating products for themselves and their friends, including face oils, foot soaks, room mists, and the coffee scrub - everything you’ll find in our Essential Box. These were the products that helped them: the oil and scrub that helped with dehydrated skin and pigmentation, the foot soak that helped them fall asleep better, and the spray that improved energy and focus.

They started gifting these to their other friends, all of whom loved the products. Payal and Subuhi realised that what helped them and their friends would also be helpful for others.

Since then, they decided that getting into business was an idea worth considering. Mushhk means fragrance, and that is the centre of all our products. Fragrances from natural essential oils chosen for their particular qualities to help people enjoy time with themselves and create beautiful rituals of self-care.
